  1. Mix all the ingredients of the filling together. Shape it either oval or round like cutlets. keep Bread crumbs aside. After shaping the filling roll onto the crumbs and deep fry.
  2. Next roll out the dough for the puris. Deep fry and keep aside. Place the fried cutlet in the centre of the fried puri. Fold it like an envelope or cone. Heat a tava on the other side. Place this cone or envelope on the warm tava, and toss on golden brown in colour.
  3. If you cannot fold like a cone or an envelope, place another fried puri on top of it like a sandwich and toss on the tava. In this case after cooking you can cut into halves or triangles.
  4. For serving you can decorate the top with tomatoes, onions, fresh coriander leaves.

For the Dough
Plain Flour (Maida) 2 Cups
Margarine/Butter 1 Table Spoon
Salt To taste
Warm Water For Dough Preparation
(The consistency for the dough should be same as Naan/batura)
(prepare and keep the dough aside atleast one hour in advance)

For the Filling
Boiled Mashed Potatoes 2
Mixed Vegetables
(carrot, peas,corn) 1 Cup
Onions (cut into small pieces) 2
Ginger & Garlic Paste (optional) 1tbsp
Chilli powder 1tbsp
Roasted Jeera Powder 1tsp
Dhania Powder 1tsp
Garam Masala or
Pav Bhaji Masala pdwr 1tsp
Salt to taste
Shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
Bread Crumbs
Oil for frying
